Spring-bead model of a flexible polymer (Kuhn model)

Spring-bead model of a flexible polymer, introduced by Kuhn (1934?). Since one bead represents several monomeric units, there is no preferential bond angle at the level of this model. Note also that the forces represented by the springs are entropic.
